At 3:30 AM Friday morning (7-11-08), my wife awakened me telling me that it was time for me to wake up to go get my new iPhone 3G. At 3:55 AM Chad knocked on the kitchen door. By 4:20 AM we were on the road to Ann Arbor. We arrived at the Briarwood mall at 5:15 AM. We were the 25th and 26th people in line for the iPhone 3G. At 6:30 AM, mall security moved us inside the mall directly in front of the Apple store. At 7:15 I counted 117 people in line. By 8:00 AM, I'm guesstimating that there were nearly 150 people in line. Our March 13th meeting featured photographer Eric Eggly from Point Seven Studios ( http://pointsevenstudios.com ). Eric "wow'd" all of us with an impressive presentation that covered in depth looks at iPhoto and Adobe Lightroom. The meeting set a new attendance record bringing in 26 attendees to the Perrysburg Beaners. The Black Swamp MUG MacWorld Expo Event held at Beaners on January 9th, 2007 was our best attended meeting ever. Over 20 Mac users showed up for a quick Expo presention by Chris Hamady, followed up by a lively discussion that dealt with subjects such as the iPhone, the Apple TV, video formats, media center Macs, and many others (check the Mac FAQ for answers to many of your questions).
